Position Summary

Our team is experiencing exciting growth within our established practice and we have a need for a strong ARP Controls Manager - Cost/Schedule professional, with aviation experience, in our Salt Lake City, UT office.

  • Will support the ARP Leadership Team and staff as required to ensure the ARP projects are compliant with Airport Improvement Program (AIP), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Passenger Facility Charges (PFC), City procurement and State of Utah requirements and guidelines, as applicable.

  • The ARP Controls Manager – Cost/Schedule will report to the TRP Deputy Program Director – Cost/Change Management, and will be responsible for the preparation of cost and schedule reports as required to manage the ARP budget and critical path schedule.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction

  • Minimum of ten (10) years field experience or fifteen (15) years of experience in cost control and construction scheduling for US airport procurement and construction projects.

  • Must be familiar with the various contract delivery methods (for example design-bid-build, design-build, and construction manager at risk).

  • Must demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain effective cost control and scheduling programs.

  • Demonstrated experience interpreting contract drawings and specifications, preparing cost reports, cash flows and cash flow schedules; participating in estimate reviews; and establishing and maintaining cost databases is required.

  • Familiar with measures, concepts, and estimating principals is required

  • Must detail oriented, proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Primavera 6, and with a program management software system (Primavera Contract Manager, Prolog or Expedition for example) is required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with the ARP project staff, owner, architects, engineers, contractors and other agencies are required.
