The Regional Assistant provides technical and administrative support to the Regional Sales Managers. The Regional Assistant must effectively problem-solve, multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. Consistent attention to detail is required for this position. The Regional Assistant must be able to operate with very limited day-to-day direction, work from general guidelines and make the majority of decisions needed to successfully carry out assigned duties and projects.

The Regional Assistant’s mission is to provide support to the Regional Sales Managers. The Regional Assistant will assume the administrative duties enabling the Regional Sales Managers to devote time and attention to the acquisition of new sales.

The Regional Assistant’s main tasks are as follows:

  • Manage and monitor daily updates in SalesNow (CRM) and report concerns and recommendations to the Regional Sales Managers

  • Monitor the proposal system for the sales team

  • Effectively communicate with Regional Sales Managers and sales associates through email and phone calls

  • Train new sales personnel in-person and remotely with regard to company policies and reporting issues

  • Manage the reporting process for the sales team including weekly activity reports

  • Organize semi-annual Regional Sales Meetings

  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new sales employees

  • Run queries and gather information for the Regional Sales Managers

  • Assist in calculating Sales Consultants’ commissions as requested

  • Coordinate sales collateral materials

  • Assist the Regional Sales Managers as needed

Requirements College degree in business or equivalent experience

  • Proficient experience with database management programs (CRM) desired

  • Complete working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ten-key and proficient data entry skills

  • Excellent reasoning and communications skills; written and verbal/phone

  • Ability to learn, understand and deal with challenges

Typical Physical Activity:

  • Physical Demands consist of sitting, typing, hearing, speaking, standing and walking.

  • Physical Requirements consist of being able to work in a typical office environment for an entire shift.

  • Indoor general office environment
