Oracle Sales Consulting Manager in West Jordan, Utah

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sales cycle.

As part of the Oracle sales team you will direct and manage pre-sales resources throughout the sales cycle. Provides technical/functional leadership to the sales team in the development and implementation of customer applications and customer products. Participates in account planning and strategy development. May publishes technical information of specific applications and/or technical articles. Works with management to define new products. Serves as the company liaison on specific technical projects with customers.

Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Knowledge of software industry relating to all aspects of ebusiness solutions. Demonstrated leadership skills. Strong presentation skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent.

Summary:



The Pre-Sales Solution Consultant Manager role is responsible formeeting quarterly and annual quota objectives working in tandem with the DirectSales organization for new customers. Asa lead of the North American team you will add value throughout the salesprocess and ensure your team is supporting the software and services salesteams across the region. You will bring a depth of experience in solutionconsulting with previous NetSuite experience as an asset. You have proven success coaching and mentoringteam members with a desire to grow and build a team. You will be responsible to drive the strategyfor the SC team supporting these verticals, deal with escalations and partnerwith key executive members in the organization to drive new sales. You enjoy achallenge and are able to deal well with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • -{PS..0}->Manage and prioritize sales opportunities for virtual team of 5-10individual contributors*

  • -{PS..1}->Clearly articulate the benefits of NetSuite's business applications toall levels including line of business managers and "C" levelexecutives*

  • -{PS..2}->Provide input to other cross-functional departments such as ProductManagement, Client Management, Support and Professional Services - pertainingto customer requests and product enhancements. *

Qualifications/Skills:*

-{PS..7}->5 years in a pre-sales or professional services role with CRM and ERPapplications

-{PS..8}->1 years in management / and or team lead role

-{PS..9}->Experience with financial application packages and thoroughunderstanding of accounting principles

-{PS..10}->Experience presenting NetSuite product to customers an asset

-{PS..11}->Previous experience selling to technology companies

-{PS..12}->Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with ability tosolution sell and coach

-{PS..13}->Ability to work under pressure with competing priorities

-{PS..14}->Previous experience hiring and building a pre-sales team is an asset

-{PS..15}->BA/MBA or equivalent applicable work experience

Travel: Position may require travelup to 30%
